Covid-19 Update

Following the latest Irish Government announcements, we now have a path to reopening on June 29th and we are excited to welcome you back to Connemara Caravan & Camping Park.

We have put in place preparatory measures and guidance to assist our guests mitigate the potential risks posed to public health and our business by the Coronavirus (Covid-19). We are continuing to update our guidelines and procedures in line with HSE recommendations to ensure we keep our guests safe and afford you the peace of mind that will allow you to relax and enjoy a wonderful and relaxing experience while staying with us.

COVID-19 Measures:

All guests must pre-book your stay with us.  You can contact Regina on 00 353 (0) 87 1 253 254 to book your stay.  While we do not take deposits we ask that you have cash payment prepared for payment on arrival.  If you wish to make any changes to your dates or need to cancel your booking please let us know.

We currently have limited availability for Caravans and Motorhomes pitches. Unfortunately, we will not be able to take any further tent bookings until after August 16th.

As we will be operating physical distancing in our reception area, on arrival one representative from each couple or family should go to check in while the others adhere to physical distancing measures. Further information on security, access and Covid 19 measures will issue at check in.

For your safety perspex screens have been installed at Reception desk and the Reception Desk area is disinfected hourly.

We promote regular hand-washing by displaying posters in customer shower and toilet facilities and encourage good handwashing practice with soap and water.

We have prominently displayed alcohol-based hand sanitisers in various areas such as entry points to Reception, Toilet/Shower block, Potwash/Laundry room. We refill these dispensers regularly.

We promote good respiratory hygiene by displaying posters in WCs.

On-site toilet and shower blocks will be available for use but due to the strict protocols around cleaning and in order to maintain physical distancing some restrictions will apply. Customers should be aware that delays may occur at busy times (morning and evening). For these reasons, caravan and motor home users are asked where possible to use their on board sanitary facilities.

Please be advised that our on-site shop will be take away only and our communal area and playroom will be closed but this will be reviewed as our operation gets up and running. Other facilities such as laundry and potwash will be open for use, but with the necessary social distancing restrictions in place.

At all times we ask that our customers please follow hand washing guidance and  campers may also like to bring with them their own supplies of soap and hand sanitiser.

We carry out regular cleaning of public areas, to an excellent standard using disinfectant.

Guests will not be able to have any day visitors to their pitches – this will help us limit the number of people on sites.

DO NOT travel to Connemara Caravan & Camping Park if you have any Covid-19 symptoms, or if you have been around someone with Covid-19 symptoms.

The availability of Facilities/Activities can change without notice, so please keep an eye on our website for updates.

All guests must adhere to all social distancing measures and all guidelines/restrictions set out by the government at all times while on the Park.

Parents/guardians must stay with their children at all times to ensure they also adhere to all these measures at all times.
